Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Meet on arrival and garlanding at New Delhi International Airport.
Transfer to hotel. New Delhi , India’s capital city, with a thousand years of history is a city of contrasts that combines a unique ambience of the ancient and the modern. An orderly plan of wide roads lined with sturdy colonial buildings, which was established soon after the imperial capital of British India moved here from Calcutta in 1911.

Day 2: In Delhi
0900 hrs : Full day tour of old and New Delhi.

Day 3: DELHI – JAIPUR………………..by surface
0700 hrs: Depart by surface for Jaipur (260 kms / 5- 6 hrs)
1300 hrs : Arrive and transfer to the hotel.
Afternoon at Leisure.

Day 4: IN JAIPUR
0800 hrs : After early breakfast proceed for half day sightseeing. Visit the Amer Fort, the former capital of the Kachhwaha Rajputs on a hillside overlooking Maotha lake, 11 km from Jaipur on the Delhi - Jaipur road. Also have the unique experience of traveling on elephant back to and from the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. Enroute to Amer Fort photo stop at Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds. The monument was originally conceived with the aim of enabling ladies of the royal household to watch the everyday life and royal processions of the city.
1400 hrs: After lunch proceed for half day sightseeing of City Palace. This is in the heart of the old city and is the former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles. Day 5: JAIPUR – AGRA.............. by surface
Morning: After early breakfast depart for Agra by surfcae. (232 kms / 7 hrs with sightseeing of Fatehpur Sikri)
Noon: Arrive Fatehpur Sikri for sightseeing. Fatehpur Sikri, built during the second half of the 16th century by the Emperor Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri (the City of Victory) was the capital of the Mughal Empire for only some 10 years.
After Fatehpur Sikri , proceed to Agra.
Arrive Agra and check in at hotel.

Day 6: Agra- Pathankot…………….……..by Train
Morning: After breakfast in hotel proceed for city tour of Agra. Visit Taj Mahal one of the seven wonderers of the World. Built by Shaha Jahan ( Mughal Emperor) for his beloved wife Mumtaz. Thereafter proceed to Agra Fort, built by the great Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D. the fort is a masterpiece of design and construction. Within the fort are a number of exquisite buildings. Lunch in hotel/ Local restaurant
1645hrs: Transfer to Railway station.
1755hrs: Leave for Pathankot by Jhelum Express. (Carry Packet dinner on board)

Day 7: Pathankot – Dharamshala ………….by surface
0845 hrs: Arrive Pathankot and transfer by coach to Dharamshala (Mc Lod Ganj)
1200 hrs approx: Arrive and check in at the hotel.
Dharamshala is set in the backdrop of snow clad peaks of Dahuladhar mountains amidst magnificient deodar and pine forests, tea gardens and beautiful hills. It is also known as 'The Lhasa in India' . Dharamsala is one of the principle towns of Kangra valley. Today Dharamsala has become synonymous to the Tibetan government in exile. Dharamsala overlooks the plains and is surrounded by dense pine trees and Deodar forests. A nearby snowline with numerous streams and cool healthy atmosphere makes the surroundings very attractive. Among the peaceful environment grows an ever alive population of Dharmsala. No doubt HH, the Dalai Lama of Tibet choose this place to be the headquarters of his exiled government. Dharamsala can be divided in two parts, the lower Dharamsala and, the upper Dharamsala. Mc Leod Ganj and Forsyth ganj form the suburb of this small town. Dharamsala is dominated by the Tibetan community but it still retains the colonial lifestyle and British fervour that had rediscovered the place.
Afternoon walk down from the hotel and visit The Church of St John-in-the-Wilderness (1860 )
St. John's Church leaves traces of British rule in the country. The church is situated amidst the Mcleod ganj and the Forseyth ganj, and is enclosed with the dense Deodhar forest. It has a very peaceful and calm look to it. The then viceroy of the country, Lord Elgin, breathed his last at Chauntra, in the district of Mandi. This church is his final resting place. He was brought here in the year 1863 AD. You will find a statuette in the church, which has been built in honour of Lord Elgin. Scores of tourists visit this elegant church which is also renowned for its architecture, design and solemn atmosphere

Day 8: In Dharamshala
Morning: Full day sightseeing of upper Dharamsala town. Visit Mcleod Ganj. This is where the residence of His Holiness Dalai Lama is located. The Tibetan Government-in-exile has been here for over three decades. Visit Tibetan medical center, Norbulingka (a learning centre for traditional Tibetan art and craft). Tibetan library at Khangchen Kyishong, Dip Tse Chokling Monastery and the SOS village school.

Day 9: In dharamshala
Day Himalayan trek . Carry packed lunch from hotel.

Day 10: Dharamshala-Amritsar……………….by surface
0700 hrs : After breakfast at hotel, leave for Amritsar by coach / SUVs.
1300 hrs : Arrive Amritsar and transfer to hotel.
1500 hrs approx : Later in the day visit the Golden temple. This is the holiest shrine for the Sikhs, so called because the entire upper half was inlaid with copper covered over by gold plate. The architecture of the Golden Temple, is a blend of Hindu and Muslim styles. Amritsar was built around the Golden Temple and the Amrit Sarovar lake, from which it derives its name.
The temple complex is surrounded by a fortified wall with eighteen gates.
Later in the evening visit the wagh border. The final frontier, Wagah about 28 kms. from Amritsar is the only border crossing between India and Pakistan. Its an interesting experience especially at sunset when the 'Retreat' ceremony takes place with the BSF on the Indian Side of the Border. The changing of the guards and the ceremonial lowering of the flags ceremony is carried out with great pomp.

Day 11: Amritsar-Haridwar…………………by Train
0400 hrs approx: Early morning revisit the Golden temple. There is an impressive ceremony every morning / evening (summer and winter timings vary) when the
GURU GRANTH SAHIB the holy book of the Sikhs, is carried over the bridge to the high seat of learning SHRI AKAL TAKHT SAHIB. In the early hours of the morning it returns to the main shrine. After the ceremony take breakfast at the LANGAR or kitchen where food is prepared for distribution free of cost to all visitors to the temple.
Later visit the Jallianwala Bagh, about 400 metres north of the Golden Temple, is a small stretch of plain ground now converted into a park. Here, on 13th April, 1919 British troops led by General Dyer fired upon a group of assembled people, including women and children. The grounds are surrounded by high building walls on all sides, except a narrow access lane. A memorial plaque at the entrance recounts the history of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Inside, a martyrs’ memorial stands on the eastern end, while the well and bullet-ridden walls remain testimonials to the bloody massacre.

Day 12: Arrive Haridwar
               Haridwar-Rishikesh-Haridwar…………by surface
0845Hrs: arrive Haridwar and transfer to the hotel. Thereafter Proceed to Hari- Ki pauri. To witness Ganges ghats. Haridwar or 'the Gateway to the Gods' is one of the seven holiest places according to Hindu mythology, as the Gods are believed to have left their footprints in Haridwar. Due to its geographical location too, Haridwar stands as the gateway to the other three important pilgrimages of Uttrakhand namely, Rishikesh, Badrinath and Kedarnath. Referred to as Mayapuri, Gangadwar, and Mokshadwar in the ancient scriptures and epics, Haridwar has always remained a major pilgrimage for the Hindus. Haridwar is situated on the foothills of Himalayas. With uncountable temples, ashrams and ghats, holy Haridwar takes tourists to a mystical world of spirituality.
Afterwards, leave for Rishikesh by coach.
Rishikesh, located in the laps of lower Himalayas, and is surrounded by scenic beauty of the hills on three sides with Holy Ganga flowing through it. Rishikesh is important not only as pilgrimage centre closely associated with the Ramayana, but also as home for many important centres of Hindu religious thought and spirituality, and Great Yoga Centres. As major gateway to the Himalayas and the start off point for journeys to important religious places like Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri, Rishikesh attracts thousands of tourists every year, who come to seek mental peace in the midst of the humdrum of modern life. The various ghats and temples assist the human spirit in its endeavour to be one with the ultimate source of all creations.
Rishikesh, the birth place of yoga is now the Hatha Yoga Capital of the World. Rishikesh is also acquiring greater significance as a centre for white water rafting, other riverine sports, a base for treks and hikes in the beautiful Garhwal Himalayas.
Drive to Laxman Jhula, walk through trans ganges Tapovan land visiting various historic Hindu temples. Besides visit Ashrams & Yoga Centres, Geeta Bhawan and other religious institutions, Shivanand Jhoola and Ram Jhoola.
Return to Haridwar in the evening.

Day 13: Haridwar-New Delhi…………………by Train
Transfer to Railway station
0600hrs: Leave for Delhi by Train.
1030hrs: Arrive Delhi and transfer to hotel.
1400hrs: In old Delhi drive past Chandni Chowk- the crowded bazaar (silver street ) of old Delhi & Red Fort- Built in 1648, this sprawling fort of red sand stones along the river Yamuna is surrounded by a wall of about 2.4 km in circumference. It was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Visit Raj Ghat memorial of Mahatma Gandhi (Father of the Nation) and Jama Masjid (Mosque) , Built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan, the Jama Masjid is the largest and one of the most magnificent mosques in India.

Day 14: In New Delhi
0900 hrs: Half Day sightseeing of New Delhi. In New Delhi visit Qutab Minar, Sikh Temple (Bangla Sahib) and drive past Parliament House, India Gate, President House and Birla Mandir (Hindu temple).
Afternoon at leisure.
Overnight at Hotel.

Day 15: DEPART DELHI
After breakfast transfer to international airport to connect flight for onward journey.
