Day 01

Arrive Delhi
Meeting and assistance at airport.
Transfer to hotel.  Rest of the day at leisure

Day 02

Delhi - Varanasi
Half day tour of Old and New Delhi: 
Old Delhi:  Drive past the Red Fort visit Jama Masjid, an architectural extravaganza of Shah Jahan, one of the largest mosques. Raj Ghat where father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948.

New Delhi: Visit India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of Indian troops who laid down their lives during the First World War.  Presidential Avenue, drive past the Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament House, visit Qutab Minar, an 11th Century victory tower that rises to a height of 73 metres
Transfer to New Delhi Railway Station to connect Shiv Ganga Express
Train DEL - Varanasi DEP 1825 hrs
Overnight: Onboard train

 

Day 03

Varanasi
Train DEL - Varanasi  ARR 0715 hrs
Meet upon arrival and transfer to Varanasi City.  Upon arrival check in at your hotel
Breakfast: at hotel
Varanasi City tour: visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Bharat Mata Mandir, Benaras Hindu University, Gyanvapi Mosque, Bharat Kala Bhavan.
Excursion of Sarnath, 12 kms.  Here Lord Buddha preached his first sermon after enlightenment and revealed the eight fold path, the Buddhists doctrine.  Visit Chaukhandi Stupa, Ashok Pillar, Dhamek Stupa, Dharamika Stupa, Archaeological Museum
Overnight: Hotel.

 

Day 04

Varanasi - Khajuraho
Early Morning boat ride on the River Ganges. The most important facet of Varanasi is the Ganges and the Ghats lining its southern bank in the city.  Just cruise along the Ghats on a country boat to view sunrise and watch the Ghats and people performing daily rights/pooja.  Return back to hotel.
Later free at leisure till departure transfer to Varanasi Airport to connect flight to Khajuraho at Flight Varanasi - Khajuraho DEP 1200hrs ARRIVAL 1240 hrs
Meet upon arrival and transfer to hotel
Sightseeing tour of Khajuraho: Visit Western group of temples visiting Kandriya Maheodo , Khausath Yogini, Chitragupta Temple, Vishwanath Temple, Lakshman Temple.  Eastern group of temples visiting Matangeswara Temple, Persunath Temple, Ghantai Temple, Adinath Temple, and the three Hindu temples belonging to Brahma.
Overnight: Hotel.

 

Day 05

Khajuraho - Orcha - Jhansi - Agra
Sightseeing tour of City: visit the Museum.  Later drive to Jhansi 220 kms /4 hours.  Enroute visit Orcha.  Visit Chaturbhuj Temple, Orcha Palace and Panoramic view of Betwa River.
Drive to Jhansi to connect train 2001 Shatabdi Express at
Train:  Jhansi - Agra  Dep: 1755 hrs Arr. 2010 hrs
Meet upon arrival and transfer to your hotel
Overnight: Hotel.

 

Day 06

Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur
Sightseeing of Agra: Visit Agra-The Taj Mahal: One of the seven wonders of the world, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, this beautiful mausoleum in pure white marble is an architectural marvel.  Agra Fort: Built by Emperor Akbar, the maze of courtyards, mosques and private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.
Drive to Jaipur, 232 Kms / 5 hours
Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri: built by Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri is the most perfectly preserved desert Mughal palace city.  Although only ruined walls remain of the town, the magnificent palace complex still stands, the elaborately carved red sandstone and marble almost as it was 400 years ago
Upon arrival in Jaipur, Check-in at the hotel
Overnight: Hotel.

 

Day 07

Jaipur
Start early at 0730 hrs.  Proceed for excursion to the Amber Fort, where you visit the Fort and enchanting mirrored palaces, climbing up the steep track on the back of an elephant.  Return to the city..
Sightseeing to Jaipur: Visiting the City Palace Museum, the Hawa Mahal (The Palace of Winds) and Jantar Mantar, the Observatory.  Jaipur is great place for shopping and a center for several hand crafts.  It is particularly famous for its block printing, blue pottery and handmade papers
Overnight: Hotel.

 

Day 08

Jaipur - Delhi - Abroad
Drive to Delhi 245 kms / 6 hrs
Upon arrival in Delhi transfer straight to International Airport to connect flight for your onward destination
