Meeting and assistance at the airport.

Afternoon-
Sightseeing of Bombay: Visit Gateway of India, located at the shore of Bombay
harbour at Apollo Bunder in Colaba, is an exaggerated colonial marker
following the visit of King George V in 1911. Pass through Victoria Terminus,
Taj Mahal Hotel, the Marine Drive, Chowpatty Beach, Dhobighat (Washerman's
Corner), Visit hanging Garden in Malabar Hills, Jain Temple. Roam around
Colaba market.

Morning-
Free in Bombay (Optional tour to Elephanta Caves by motor launch)
Afternoon- Transfer to airport.

Day 03 | Day
excursion to Ajanta
The famous Buddhist Caves of Ajanta,

Kms from Aurangabad, date from 200BC to 650AD. The cluster of caves in a
black rock face, houses 5 Chaityas (Temple shrines) and 25 Vihara (Lodging
of monks). Some of the caves hold world heritage site of fresco paintings,
depicting the Jatak stories of Buddha and his predecessors. Return back to
Aurangabad in the evening.

Day 04 |

Aurangabad - Bombay - Bangalore
Morning-
Visit Ellora Caves : 30 Kms away from Aurangabad lie the famous caves
of Ellora. Unlike Ajanta these 35 rock cut caves consist of Hindu,
Jain and Buddhist cults. The most famous of these caves is Kailash,
which is a massive temple structure carved out of a rock. Other caves
are also equally important for their aesthetic beauty, architectural
plans and rock motives carved on the outer and inner walls of the
caves. Return back to Aurangabad by noon.
Afternoon- Transfer to airport.
Departure for Bombay by flight.
Arrive Bombay. Assistance at the airport. Change plane.
Departure for Bangalore by flight.
Arrive Bangalore.

Day 05 | Bangalore
- Mysore
Morning-
Sightseeing tour of Bangalore city : Visit the famous Lalbagh consisting the
largest collection of rare tropical and sub-tropical plants in India, the
rose garden, watch tower. The Vidhan Sabha, Visit an IT institute.
Afternoon- Drive to Mysore by car coach. Arrive Mysore. Rest of day
free.

Day 06 | In
Mysore
Morning-
Visit to Nandi Hills and Srirangapattanam: The patron Goddess of the region
Chamunda throwns on the hill overlooking the valley. The temple of Mother
Goddess is much of faith and belief to the locals and hundreds of people
visit here everyday. Halfway up the hill is the massive monolithic Nandi -
the ride of Lord Shiva and guard of the shrine.
Continue to visit Srirangapattanam: On the bank of river Kaveri lies
the historical sojourn of Mysore's fierce sultans. Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan
had written the golden history of their wars with British from this place.
Tipu's Summer Palace, Ranganath Swami Temple and garden around it are worth
visiting.
Afternoon- City tour of Mysore - Visit Mysore Palace - The former
residence of Wadeyar ruler of Mysore, the Palace is a splendid structure in
Indo-Sarcenic style. The palace Museum besides other attractive collection
of bygone era, houses magnificent gold thrown and silver doors. St.
Philomena's Church - One of the largest churches in India.
Evening- Optional tour to Brindaban Garden - A beautifully laid
garden on the bank of famous Krishnasagar Dam, is a special attraction in
the evening illuminated twinkling lights.

- Chennai
Morning- Free in Mysore.
Afternoon- Transfer to Railway Station.
1420hrs- Departure for Chennai by Shatabdi Train.

Day 08 | In
Chennai
Morning- City tour of Chennai : Visit Fort St. George - The
Oldest surviving British Construction in India at the northern end of
Marina, the fort was once the head quarters of the East India Company. Today
it houses the Secretariat of Tamil Nadu Government.
The Fort Museum, which houses the collection of souvenirs of British Raj.
St. Mary Church. The beautiful church of British days known for the venue of
nuptial knot of Lord Clive with his beautiful wife Margeret Maskelyne. Pass
through High Court building, The Rajaji Hall and Marina Beach and Aquarium.
The San Thome Basilica - The Roman Catholic Church built in neo-Gothic
style. The St. Thomas Mount - a 76 metre high mount where St. Thomas was
martyred.
Visit Parsthasarathy Temple - a temple dedicated to Lord Krishna.
Kapaleswar Temple - Theological society buildings, and Government
Museum - Founded by British, this museum keeps a unique place in the history
of South India, besides multifaceted museum crafts available here; the most
famous is its archaeological gallery comprises the best of Cholas,
Vijaynagar, Chalukya, Hosala and British arts.
Afternoon- Visit Mahabalipuram : Visit to Mahabalipuram: 58
kms from Madras, lies the town of Mahabalipuram. This ancient seaport of
Pallava kings houses some of the oldest art works in stone - The Arjuna's
Penance - a 27m x 7 m bas-relief depicts the story of Arjuna's zeal to
please Lord Shiva. It has a fascinating combination of humans, animals and
celestial beings with a leading majestic elephant.
The Shore Temple - A monolithic temple surviving from centuries to
the rugged waves of Bay of Bengal.
Krishna's Butter ball - an umbrellic stone ball mysteriously stick to
a small space.
The Five Rathas - The monolithic carved rock statue depicting the
story of Mahabharata.
The Artisan corner - where the stone carving is still keeping the old
monumental style of masonry. Return back to Madras.

Day 10 | Day
excursion to Konark & Puri
Morning- Departure by coach for Konark: 68 Kms from Bhubneswar lies
the famous Sun Temple of Konark. The temple stands in solitary splendour
amongst the sand dunes and is the most striking example of Kalinga
architecture. It is designed as a huge chariot of Sun God, drawn by seven
exquisitely carved and ornamented horses.
Afternoon- Drive on to Puri : Puri is one of the four Hindu Dhamas (
Pilgrimage spot) and every Hindu has a life time desire to visit this holy
city of Lord Jagannath. The temple of Lord Jagannath with 58m high penical
is the major attraction of the city. The religious environ around the city
transpires the deep rooted Hindu affinity to all visitors.
Evening: Return back to Bhubneshwar.

Day 11 | Bhubneshwar

Morning- Visit Bhubneshwar : The city once said to have around 10,000
temples, of which a few hundreds still survive dominated by the ancient
Lingaraj Temple. The round "Chakra" on the top of the temple is a
land mark feature of the city. Visit the Raj Rani Mandir, Brameswar Mandir
and Orissa Tribal Research Centre.
Afternoon- Transfer to airport.
Departure for Delhi by flight.
Arrive Delhi.

Day 12 | In Delhi
Morning
: Sightseeing Tour of Old Delhi. Old Delhi comprises the splendour of
its historical glory that existed even before British made it the Capital of
India again in 1911. The famous city of Sahajanabad with its glorious Jama
Masjid and the Red Fort are the unique footprints of mighty Mughals. The
crowded colourful, narrow lively streets of Old Delhi around Chandni Chowk
are still the remnant of its bygone era. Besides these ancient monuments the
tour of old Delhi the visitors also visit the cremation place (Rajghat) of
our father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi.
Afternoon : Sightseeing tour of New Delhi. New Delhi today is the
modern hub of metropolitan civilisation enjoying the life in and around
buildings planned by British while shifting the Capital of India to Delhi in
early 20th Century. The city tour mainly comprises of visits to the
government buildings i.e. Parliament House, President House, Ministerial
Buildings, and a drive past through India Gate (War Memorial) and Embassy
Area. The tour also involves visit to the ancient monuments like Qutub
Minar.

Travel to the magnificent Amer Fort for a tour of this former stronghold of
the Maharajas of Jaipur.Enjoy elephant joy ride. Visit the labyrinth of
palace buildings, the Diwane-Am, Diwane-Khas, private apartments of
maharaja.
Afternoon- Visit Pink city. The city Palace museum, full of old
glorious rajputana artifice of royalty. The Jantar mantar (Observatory) - an
eighteen century astronomical sight which is as accurate in calculations
today as in past. The Palace of Winds, the bazaar of Pink City.

Day 15 | Jaipur
- Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
Morning-
Departure for Agra by coach.
Enroute to Agra visit Fatehpur Sikri, a red sand stone city, built by Akbar
the great, to honour the great Sufi saint Sheikh Salim Chisti, whose
blessings begot Akbar with the birth of a son. Unsurpassed red sandstone
constructions scattered all along the deserted city do tell us
uninterruptedly about the bygone glamorous prime of this sojourn capital
city of Mughals. Arrive Agra. Rest of day free.

Morning-
Visit Taj Mahal: Taj Mahal is the emblem of love in world history,
this marvel in marble is visited by thousand of tourists everyday. Built by
Emperor Shahjahan in memory of his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal embodies all
that a man can think of an immortal love. Agra Fort is the rampart of the
great Mughal Capital full of palatial Buildings in second to none of its
time.
