Day 02 | Arrive Cochin by early morning flight

Afternoon- City sightseeing of Cochin, one of India's most interesting cities. You can see the oldest church in India, winding crammed streets with Portuguese constructed houses over 500 years old, cantilevered Chinese fishing nets, Mattancherry Palace and the Jewish Synagogue.

Day 03 | Cochin/Kumarakom
Morning- Leave by surface to Kumarakom Kerala, India's most acclaimed state for nature's blessed abundance. For years Kerala has been one of the most favoured destination all over the world. Kumarakom on Vembanad Lake has the largest backwater stretch, over hundreds of inter-linked narrow water canals, rich coconut farms and golden paddy fields. A picturesque tourist spot and fast developing backwater destination.
Afternoon- Boat ride along the backwaters, relaxing trip through the maze of canals, a fascinating experience and a delightful way to get a closer look at life in the backwaters or participate in a thearapy at the Ayurvedic centre.

Morning- Leave for Periyar
Afternoon- Free to visit the surroundings

Day 06 | In Periyar Morning- Visit Periyar earliest Sanctuary which was set up in 1034 and forms part of the mountain ranges, the Western Ghats. Cruising on Lake Periyar, you are likely to see animals like wild boars, sambars, wild dogs, langur and wild elephant.
Afternoon- Visit spice Gardens

Day 07 | Periyar/Madurai
Morning- Leave by surface to Madurai
After arrival transfer to Hotel
Afternoon- City tour of Madurai visiting the Great Meenakshi Temple dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva with its towering gopurams. Also visit the Alagar Hills and Tirupara Kundran Rock Temple.

Day 09 | In Chennai
Morning- Sightseeing of Chennai visiting Museum. Drive through the flower and fruit market, High Court, Fort Museum, Marina Beach, San Thome Cathedral and Snake Park
Afternoon- Free to explore the city on own

Day 10 | Chennai/Mysore
Morning- Transfer to Railway Station
0600hrs- Departure for Mysore by Shatabdi Express Train
1300hrs- Arrive Mysore. Transfer to Hotel
Afternoon- City tour of Mysore - Visit Mysore Palace - The former residence of Wadeyar ruler of Mysore, the Palace is a splendid structure in Indo-Sarcenic style. The palace Museum besides other attractive collection of bygone era, houses magnificent gold thrown and silver doors. St. Philomena's Church - One of the largest churches in India.
Evening- Visit Brindaban Garden - A beautifully laid garden on the bank of famous Krishnasagar Dam, is a special attraction in the evening illuminated twinkling lights.

Day 11 | Mysore/Hassan
Morning- Visit at Nandi Hills and Srirangapattanam: The patron Goddess of the region Chamunda thrown on the hill overlooking the valley. The temple of Mother Goddess is of much of faith and belief to the locals and hundreds of people visit here everyday. Halfday up the hill is the massive monolithic Nandi - the ride of Lord Shiva and the guards the shrine. Continue visit to Srirangapattanam: On the bank of river Kaveri lies the historical sojourn of Mysore's fierce sultans. Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan had written the golden history of their wars with British from this place. Tipu's Summer Palace, RanganathSwami Temple and garden
around it are worth visiting.
Afternoon- Leave Mysore for Hassan by surface Hassan
Hassan: 120 kms from Mysore is the district headquarters town of Hassan. This Calm and peaceful town is a convenient base to visit Belur and Halebid.

Day 12 | Hassan - Bangalore
Morning- Visit Belur: Famous for the Chennakeswara temple, one of the finest specimens of Hoysala temple architecture of the 13th century with
numerous carvings. Halebid: The elaborately carved temples of Hoysaleswara and Kedarsware are to be found here.
Enroute visit Sravanbelgola, the tallest monolithic statute of Jain Tirthankar on a steep rock top.

Day 13 | In Bangalore/Mumbai
Morning- Sightseeing of Bangalore city visiting Lal Bagh which has a variety of old trees, fountains, lotus pools, terraces. Also visit the Maharaja's Palace.
Afternoon- Transfer to airport connect flight for Mumbai.
Arrive Mumbai and connect flight for further destination.
